Next step : FOUNDATION ( The biggest chalange ever ).

Since I was a teenager, and I was trying to hide my horrible red skin tone, I tested ...I will dare to say 10000000 different foundations. Starting from those cheap ones ends on those that price scared even more then the best horror movies! Before you will try to find good foundation, you need to remember few things!
Expensive it's not always means GOOD QUALITY, Good Tone you can find only if you will TRY OUT foundation on your hand (and in a second I will say how to do it), or even if you can to take small sample and check out on your face!
Before we will started, first try to ask yourself what kind of foundation you need - observe your face if it's dry, normal, oily, do you need good cover foundation or you don't have bigger skin problems and you want only smooth your skin and make make-up once in a while.
All foundations..or maybe more of them have sign on bottles like here
for what kind of skin this foundation it's good for. It's important to remember about it, because their components are slightly diffrent!
To check out which skin tone fits, you need to spread a little bit of foundation on your hand - and here are to Schools- one: bellow your thumb

or on your wrist

At work I'm using foundations of MAC and INGLOT but for myself I use Revlon Colourstay.

It's cover perfectly, it's easy to work with and have a lot of skin tones. It's easy to buy him on ebay, or allegro for really good price! I also recommend BeMinerals Foundations.
But important rule is... don't be affraid to test diffrent companies, thanks to that you will know which stuff avoid and which one are perfect for you. It's so many people in this world all of us have something uniq, thats why one product can not be perfect for all of us! Remember about it!!

As always I invite you to check out and like Artmission funpage

Faces.

Photo: Cyb At Rainbow, Model: Ulrike Wächter, mua: Artmission

It's strange how many faces, and names you can remember after time, and how many people you can meet in one, two years ... i love this moment when I'm starting new project and I see that there are people with who I worked with in past, or in your free time you go for a walk and just like that step by on someone ....
With Ulrike we always met on some bigger projects but finall results of photos normaly didn't blow our mind. One day Ulrike gave my contact to Sybille, and this is how we get this magical work. ;)

I have some new photos that I can share with you and as always I'm still waiting for bigger half of them ;)
In next post, I will try to share with you another important step in make-up. Don't got anywhere ;)

In love!!!

Hi guys,
today maybe I wont share with you some of my work, but I would like to betray my secrets with you
about the most incredible experience I ever had! :D
I bought few days ago new brush, with totally crazy shape.
Here you can see three typical brushes to apply foundation. All of them have great shape and they work out on their way! But this little innocent brush in the middle it's the most awesome one!!!
It maybe sounds funny if I say that I discover Nude make-up in a totally new way thanks to this one make-up tool! but it's true! It's not important from which company you will buy it untill hair quality it's good!!
By this brush you can apply as much foundation as you want and cosmetic it's not getting between hair. This shape it's cut in this way,  that only the first line of hair it's holding foundation. So you can use really small drop of foundation and cover bigger space on your face!!

All those who need fast, natural make-up - for sure you can reach for this brush!!!

Correctors - yes or no?

Photo: Lucy Alcorn, Model: Fania Fuchsia F. , MUA: Artmission

Before I will Start New Make-up topic, first I would like to present you effects of my cooperation with amazing Lucy A. and Fania. Lucy it's from Australia but she is based Photographer in Berlin :) Fania - you should know her from my old post, after 2 years we meet once again on a set to make something really smooth! I hope you like it and I want to invite you for my funpage webside and Lucys!:

Correctors - yes or no ?
Many girls asked me: " Foundation is enough or should  I invest in Correctors? Make-up is better thanks to that or not? etc.
For many years I avoid correctors. When I started work as a MUA on market there were only few products to use as a correctors it wasn't to big variety (like right now you can choose correctors for dry/normal skin ..) So I decided durning summertime to give once again chance to this type of product!
I was suprised that it's so many kinds of them... in cream, tube for dry, normal, oily completions.
I think right not it's not so hard to choose good company with set that it will be perfect for you. But chalanging it could be:
- matching colour for your skin tone... (with Correctors the most important part is to choose colours that they fit exactly to our skin - that we wont make any stains!). Why? Not all companies who make correctors make huge variety of colours, of course in MAC, INGLOT etc you shouldn't have problem with that
- buy good enough powder which will matt your face for all day or wont dry out your skin!
(many correctors are really oily so it's good to use base before you will use product on your face! but because they are oily it's hard to find a powder which will matt your face all day or after few ours you can see that your skin it's to dry because powder you bought to mat corretors it's to strong for your face. )
Thats why....my finall answer is... "NO for Correctors if you want to keep good, fresh and not oily look for ALL DAY!". Corretors are maybe fun during Summer, and for those people who don't have bigger complaction problems. But those ones that need good make-up product I can for sure say  "Keep your attention on good Foundation!" and what I mean by that? Foundation needs to cover and match to your type and skin tone! If you will choose wisly perfect product for yourself believe me you don't need Correctors in your life at all!

Brush. Perfect Choice?

Perfect Brush?
From Experience I know that the most difficult challenge is to find good Brush that will fit to our desires and needs. As a first step to prepare yourself, before you will even start to search tools and visit every available place to make it happen is to ask yourself what you looking for exactly, Powder Brush, Rouge Brush etc.  It’s right now on a market a lot of shapes and different brushes so many of you feel confused what you should buy.  What you should know in the beginning? They are many kinds of hair that they use for brushes: Natural / Fake  / Synthetic . Avoid Fake and Natural. Fake it’s quite obvious why – who didn’t even once bought a brush that after one week looked like brushes to oil painting?! Why you should avoid Natural? First reason is that many people are alergic for them and they don’t work out so oft on face so it’s hard to make smooth make-up when your tools start to stuck in one position! If you asked me – my first set that I ever bought was from Natural hair and I need to say they used pretty fast, it wasn’t comfortable to work with them and after 3 years I had only 2 in good shape from 30 …
So why Synthetic one are better? Really often they have good shape and you can feel that hair on this brush is soft, nice and nothing should stuck on them!

Another misteake that people make quite often when they are buying new tools is… that they are buying sets with 30… 40…..24 Brushes from one Company… believe me not every one of them is for you…not all of them are for your hand and they for sure not satisfy you like they should! Probably even half of them you wont never use!  So my advice for you is to find some time to visit shops with good tools – they really often have a samples of brushes that you can touch and see if they soft, good prepared to work with!

My set? Like you see below they come from different shops and companies.
Inglot, Bobby Brown, Eco Tools, Sephora, Kryolan, Kiko, Bare Minerals, Da Vinci.

So few words about each of them:
1. Kiko – eyeliner brush / Kiko it’s maybe not the best cosmetic company. They have more trash stuff then some good one products but some of they brushes are quite good and price it’s quite cheap!
2/ 13/ 14 Pupa – eyeliner. lip brush / It’s one of those 2 Brushes from my first set that I ever bought. It’s maybe not the best brush I ever had but in emergency situations he is quite helpful!
3/ 11/ 16/ 18 Bare Minerals - eyeliner /lip brush / it’s one of my new tools, and I need to say they have amazing brushes but more about them later…
5. Bobby Brown – lip brush. For sure they have expensive brushes! But I need to say for now I’m satisfy how he is working out and in the future I’m pretty sure I will buy some other shape!
4. Inglot – lip brush. Comfy, good price but the only problem is that the black farb get off quite quick, and head is falling out from wood stick. I repare him by myself and it’s still work as it should but when you buy a brush you have hope you don’t need to replace him after 4 month…
6/ 7/ 19 Sephora – eyeliner brush, Powder Brush. Good price maybe not super cheap but when you compare prices with MAC / Make-up Forever you know you are in heaven! I love brushes from them but you need to be carefull – not all of them have good quality of hair!
8/ 9/ 10  Kryolan – Eyeshadow Brush, Eyeliner brush.  First brush that I bought was from Kryolan in my make-up school! To this day I have it in my set  and few new ones– they are Awesome! Maybe after few years colour from wood part fell down but it’s the smallest problem ever . they are medium expensive and not all shapes are good for me but I choose those once that I needed and …it was the best choice ever!
17. Eco tools – Rouge Brush. Something cheap that you can reach in Polish Rossman … in Germany I need to say I had problems to find it in any shop and it’s a pity but you can awlays try on Internet to reach it- really good brushes, nice hair quality!
15. Da vinci  - foundation Brush.  I bought it in German Douglas and …I didn’t know what to expect because they didn’t had sample to check it out if it’s good enough but… I have this brush since 2 years, it’s commfy to use, it’s soft ..price was not to hight and not super cheap!

Durning summer break I'm waiting for all photos from projects I was working on since few last months.
This break is a great time for me to get new eye and fresh energy to share with you in future!
But for now....

This shoot for Moob magazine I had to chance make thanks to Giuseppe Morales Volpe - Great Photographer from Italy ( we made together Asian mood photo shoot) that he is right now working for Moob magazine. He give us a topic of Reborn - He get me in touch with two Girls : Me and Liz new each other from other projects but Lynn was a fresh man on a board! Of course she have great experience and outstanding PF but it was the first time we had chance to work together.
We didn't had to much time to prepare, only one week, so we decided to focus on make-up. We had so many ideas. In the end I suggest we can play with latex and try to show that a couple or just 2 strangers try to reap of their old skin to reborn in new light. Like you cam see here
I think it's quite freak and great that Marilen and Olivier got so easy to their roles and tried to had fun from it as much they could! I hope you love this project as much I am!
More photos from this mood you can see on my funpage!

Refresh

After 4 years I realise it's time to refresh my tools!
I had durning that time new brushes but after time ... You realise nothing is last for ever!
It's always hard for me to buy new tools because I'm really picky and it's not easy to fool me.
It's so many brands that they have awesome cosmetics but their brushes...- seriously who made this cheap made in xxx stikcs with some few pair of hair?!
After small research I bought those babys;) maybe not all of them are popular - like bareminerals but always when you prepare yourself to buying new brushes check out how soft they are, what kind of hair it is if it is commfy to hold them in hand if they are not to small to big to thick.. Etc.
I just try them yesterday, to check out how they work and I need to say I can't wait to use them the first time on photo shoot - and maybe on Monday it will be the first chance!;)

Model: Kristen, Mua: Artmission

It was few weeks ago, when I started my conversation with Milla about this photo shoot. We changed date probabably 3-4 times. She had so big problems to find a model, everyone didn't had time, canceled in last moment ... And finally Milla met Kristen one day before our shoot on street.
I think sometimes it's good to wait for sign from universe, because I think no one fit so good to Milla style so mich as Krtisen! She made perfect job, we looked like she was born to wear this style!
With Iva we were searching for golden tips to match make- up that will catch the mood. I think that this team work shows how much we rock this planet!;)
