Lulu la piscina - Bitch I'm fabolous!

So two months ago I had opportunity thanks to Cristina Chirila to work with her on this project which was published in Vice webside.
For Cristina it was really important project because she create him from the begining to the end with little help of me, Vincent, Natalia and of course Teresa. For me it was so cool to work with all of them and learn something new. I like to observe Cristina because she is always good prepare, she always know on which way model should pose and how clothes should lye on her. It's really uniq to have that kind of person durning photo shoot and not only for me but specialy for photographer and model!
It was also so nice to work with Vincent. I like his style and way he is working with people and of course he is really good photorapher!
I think that all of us make good job. Cristina created great look, Teresa just jump in new skin and show the best thing she have, Natalia made really cool modern illustrations and Vincent capture everything in perfect way! Vier Elemente :) // Four Elements Aqua Der Welt / Aqua World

So heute, spreche ich auf Aqua Der Welt Foto-Sessions.
Dies Make-up ist sehr schwier aber möglich. //
Ok maybe it's enough for now to try write in German a new post. But hey guys! I'm trying and still learning!
But it's so difficult to write everything I want and still don't know so many words... but I'm working on this!
So today I want to share with you some photos from underwater shoot. I'm still waiting for more photos from this "topic so more you can check out on my funpage soon :)
What is important on that kind of photo shoot? Good quality of foundation, more grease foundations and... it's good to mention that you also need time for some retouches. After few shoots with Tamboly I realise that even if we had to prepare 6..8 models by one shoot I didn't had time for retouches after girls made her first test and before they jump to the water second time. Because of that I know that T. had more work to do than normaly. But thanks to that experience I know how to act, in what way work and what use and what not use at all.
The idea for make-ups was very spontanious. Normaly I always agree few days before shoot what I will do but on this project with T we always change mind in last minute so I was trying to match up make-up for model her clothes etc. Those 2 photos are with simply make-up... Astrid Have nude make-up with darker lips, Daisy had grey smookye eyes with nude lips and after time with red lips. We all the time try to change a little bit of make-ups ..for example or another shoots we made more darker... or colorfull make-up. So we will see how this look was working on this kind of mood for this shoot:)

Yesterday I got some news from girls I was working with them earlier.
Maria send me some photos from our shoot with Mario Zimbalski and Cristina Chirila. Guys I really can't wait to show u what we did. But first Mario need to make some final retouches and Maria will try to find a good magazine which will try to publish this shoot so...cross your fingers for us:)
And also probably on Monday I will have good news but about that maybe next time ;)

Ich habe zu viel gearbeitet;)

Like u see my Deutsch is in bigger progress than few months ago... bit still I'm learning and
it will pass some time before I will make all post in german ;)
For those one who don't understand german language my today post is calling " I was to much working".
Today is the first day after some time that I have free time, I can chill and relax :)
I'm still waiting for a lot of photos from last shoots but untill that I will present some old stuff and two backstage photos:)
I tired to catch all possibilities to work because I know that in next few weeks weather will fucked up totally and then it wont be so much work. A lot of photographers will make a break untill next spring time and another goup of them will start to make studio shoots. What I will doing durning this time?! Learn german and had hope that maybe something will pump in to my schedule!:)

I know I showed u one photo from shoot with Maria and Vashka but we made 2 kinds of look one colourfull make up and this one more in beauty style. I adore how Vashka retouch this photo. It was just normal hotel bathroom, nothing special but he made here such a beautiful mood....
Sometimes is so incredible how people could change all idea of place where it was shoot or film set.
For example when I was working on one of film sets it was raning...but in film u have a feeling is a great beautiful weather... - people right now can make so much magic things!
Like u know I met with Maria few times more... I love to work with her because she always know how to get to perfect mood, how to pose... I wish that every model could work like that!

Those two photos are from bactsage. One of them is a shoot from July (I probably wont get any photo from this one shoot...such a shame it was so great stylization by Cristina my great make-up and Maria as a model...) and another one is a backstage photo from Thursday shoot. It was another part of underwater shoot :) So like u see I didn't sit on my ass and I had productive time... Soon I should shere with u some photos from 5 diffrent photo shoots. :)

Jelous.

I know that titule of post it's not optymistic but I wont write to much about bad stuff.
Make-up artist profession have two sides. Great, colourfull one and this second one where your back is
killing by pain and you meet sometimes on your way some people who just dream to show you in bad light.
You need to be ready to deal with it. It's maybe a lot of other MUA's but it's important to know how to work with other people and respect to each other (such a shame that somepeople sometimes forget about it)!! I wont write here some of my bad experiences... I need to admit I had them few times in my life but I have more lucky than most of people in this profession.
So my advice? Don't care what other people could think... if you know you are good in something just fallow your heart voice and be Awesome ;)

Photo: Photo: Patrick Jendrusch, Clothes Designer: Shrekahnth, Model: , Miriam, MUA: Artmission, thanks to FIER management

I got a chance to make this lookbook for Shrekahnth thanks to Lisa from Fier management. When I saw all outfits...I felt in love in them just right away... make-up idea was really simply, because all of us whant to ephasize all those great clothes! When I spoke with Shrekahnth he told me that he spends a lot of months on looking perfect fabrics or colours... but I think that his ideas...and work it;s just outstanding! So here u can fallow him and check out what he is doing right now

Fortune Teller.

I'm not a fortune teller.
I'm just a dreamer.

Director: Matteo Tonarelli, Actors crew: Connor Atkins, Stella Sophie Kieffer, Wlada Igorevna, Carlo Loiudice, MUA: Artmission

Few months ago when it was really cold and lot of us dreamed about spring time I took part in this project.
I wont tell all details about movie. If you want to check out more just jump in to this few files!

I wrote to Matteo a message in the begining of January. He was looking for a crew for his movie. On the set I met a lot of crazy, positive people. For 4 days we were like little family.
With some of them I met in other projects...I hope that in future I will also meet with other guys:)
To this day I remember the best brownie baked by Bettianne, and how Carlo made all of us laugh :)

It's no easy to work in winter time. Specialy if a lot of scenes are taken outside. For make-up artist it's difficult to fight with red ears and noses:) But I tried to handle with this as good I could!:)

Guys believe me you need to check it out!! ;)

Make my day.

Thank you.
I want to starts from this words because today one person who spend (probably really) a lot of time to check out almost all of my works make my day. So I want to thank all people who ever support me!

So today I want to share something diffrent with you.
Men shoot.
It's true that I didn't prepare so many male models than female models but on my list I met few really handsom funny and cool guys who are as much interesting on photos as girls!
With guys is always funny because they hate make-up and they always react like little babys on sponge, foundation and all that "girl stuff" - not every of them... for example Ernest that u can admire on lower photo he just love photo shoots so make-up is for him like a starter before first snap of camera!

It's important to don't put to much cosmetics on their faces, they very often don't need to much foundation and they should look more natural and in men style (only if the idea of make-up is more theatrical then u can do what you want but in test shoots you need to be carefull what you do!).

So maybe I didn't write today to long post but I had a need to share with you something diffrent than always.
P.s I'm after really amazing shoot so I can't wait to share this with you guys!:)

And in this saturday Artmission will prepare few models for LIVE NETWORKING FOR FASHION & ART -17.08.2013 in Berlin! Cross your fingers for me!:)

Patience

It’s not easy to wait for another project to show up. Sometimes you need to wait for long weeks before you get any message or short note. It’s easier if you take everything…paid job and TFP projects… then you have 80% of TFP projects and 20% of normal paid work.
One year ago I decided I wont do TFP project any more. It’s not easy decision because when u work in this profession u know exactly that it’s not so many photographers or models who get paid for their work… so you feel that you are the only one who have strick rules.  But after so many years… after so many shoots you need to know when to say… “No for TFP”. It’s not only about respect for yourself… I spend in one month so many cash for cosmetics, brushes and other stuff that you realize that it’s not only a hobby… it’s your work…and if you want to be treat as a professional if you want to be better time after time you need to invest in yourself..but money don’t fall down from the sky… foundation don’t dripping from a faucet – my very good  friend also make-up artist said that and I love to use that sentence- before someone ask me about cooperation I always make my point and tell them ..for me it’s not important to get paid for my work… min. I expected is that someone will pay for my reimbursement for used stuff. I don’t have high price list, I’m also a human being.

So all Dear Make-up artist…models…photographers.. it’s good to work on TFP base when you just started… you can meet a lot of people,  create interesting portfolio…but you need to remember one day you need to wake up from TFP madness and fight for your right..

So this shot is from few weeks ago, I once again met with Maria but this time as a photographer  work VashaK. We still waiting for more photos but first 3 which Vazha choosed are great…
I love the light… his point of view to capture reall beauty of Maria… ;)

I had really great July…I’m still wondering how it will looks like August … ;)

Like always I invite you to check out whats going on in Artmission funpage!;)
